Radiology reporting software for hospitals and diagnostic centres in Nashik

Caresoft RIS is web-based radiology reporting software for hospitals and diagnostic centres in Nashik and across Maharashtra. It replaces typing reports into Word files: patient details come from the HIS bill, radiologists type in a Word-style editor using their own templates, sign digitally, and the report reaches the patient as a PDF on WhatsApp and email.

Built for radiology teams in Nashik

Many hospitals and imaging centres in and around Nashik have one or two radiologists reporting long lists every day, often with a typist preparing Word files. Caresoft RIS lets the typist prepare drafts from ready templates while the radiologist reviews and signs, so the radiologist's time goes into the findings rather than the formatting.

Because it runs in a web browser, there is nothing to install on reporting computers — radiologists can report from the department, from home, or across branches in Nashik, Malegaon, Dhule and Jalgaon, with the same templates and the same patient file.

How a study moves through Caresoft RIS

  1. Billed in the HIS — the study lands in the RIS worklist with patient, bill and referring doctor filled in. Without an HIS, staff add it in RIS.
  2. Template opens — the format linked to that service code opens by itself.
  3. Typed and signed — drafts save automatically; the radiologist finalizes and the report locks with their signature, qualification and registration number.
  4. Delivered — the patient receives a private link and the PDF on email and WhatsApp; the HIS is told the report is ready.

Your formats, your letterhead

Existing Word formats do not need to be retyped. The hospital administrator selects many .docx files at once and each becomes a template, keeping bold, underline, highlight, colours, bullets, numbering, indents and tables. Each template can then be linked to HIS service codes so the right one opens automatically.

Reports print on your letterhead image, or on pre-printed stationery with the blank space at the top and bottom set to the millimetre. The letterhead repeats on every page of long reports and on every page of the PDF.

Reaching patients

When a report is finalized, RIS creates a private link that expires after the number of days the hospital chooses. The patient receives it by email — with the report attached as a PDF — and on WhatsApp through the official WhatsApp Business API, where the PDF can also be sent as a file. Every send is logged with its result.

The WhatsApp message uses the template your hospital gets approved by Meta, in the language you choose for that template — for example English, Hindi or Marathi.

Questions

Is Caresoft RIS available for hospitals in Nashik?

Yes. Caresoft RIS is cloud software hosted by Caresoft in India, so hospitals and diagnostic centres in Nashik use it through a web browser. Caresoft onboards the hospital, and the hospital's administrator then sets up templates, letterhead, users, email, WhatsApp and the HIS connection from their own settings screens.

Do we need Caresoft HIS to use it?

No. It works with Caresoft HIS, with any other HIS through a documented API, or on its own with patients and studies entered directly in RIS.

We have one radiologist and two typists. Is RIS useful at that size?

Yes. Typists prepare drafts from templates; the radiologist reviews and signs. Only one person edits a draft at a time, so work is never overwritten.

How do patients get the report?

By email with the PDF attached and a private link, and on WhatsApp through the official WhatsApp Business API. The link expires after the number of days the hospital sets.
